<p><em>Lunes 1 Sep</em>: <strong>Warm up: </strong>&#8220;Identify perpective, balance &amp; movement in design&#8221; (use tracing paper, pencils, transparencies, dry erase markers, wet erase markers, magazines, big opaque projector &amp; screen.<strong> </strong><strong>Presentation</strong>: Define class structure and class concepts. <strong>Concept</strong>: Define the relationship between visual art and graphic design. <strong>Activity</strong>: Self-Artistic introductions with paper and materials</p>
<p><em>Miercoles 3 Sep</em>: <strong>Warm up:</strong> &#8220;Parts of the whole&#8221; (use opaque projector, screen, magazines, homemade cut aperatures from cartolina, <strong>Presentation</strong>: Connection to art, use of space and confines of paper, perspective. <strong>Concept</strong>: Review and identify various aspects of visual media focusing primarily on : line, shape, form, color, balance, movement, perspective, contrast. Be able to separate the different elements that compose a visual design. <strong>Activity</strong>: create and decorate personal folder for keeping textures to be used in design projects (use big pieces of kraft paper), use big back cabinet on left, and using elements of balance, movement, perspective, line, shape, color, use of space.</p>
<p><em>Lunes 8 Sep</em>: <strong>Warm up</strong>: &#8220;New perspectives in the classroom&#8221;: drawing regular objects&#8211; Begining to look at object from new angles. <strong>Presentation</strong>: Digital everyday cameraperson excercise. <strong>Activity:</strong> re-drawing common objects, naming them, and putting them up around the classroom.</p>
<p><em>Miercoles 10 Sep</em>:: <strong>Warmup</strong>: Perpective, Balance and Movement Tracing, (use tracing paper, pencils, transparencies, dry erase markers, wet erase markers, magazines, big opaque projector &amp; screen.) <strong>Presentation</strong> (using opaque projector and screen). Analyze and discuss how design has been used historically, focusing primarily on: a.) printed media, b.) music album art, c.) printed and broadcast advertising, d.) t-shirt designs.  <strong>Activity</strong>: analyze printed media in newspapers and magazines, select a theme to represent for a client and design an ad&#8211; storytelling&#8211; reflection.</p>
<p><em>Lunes 15 Sep:</em>: <strong>Warm up:</strong> &#8220;Parts of the whole&#8221; (use opaque projector, screen, magazines, homemade cut aperatures from cartolina.  <strong>Presentation</strong> Analyze and discuss how graphic design has been used through history a.) visual pleasure of producing and viewing of art b.) commerce c.) propaganda. Review the physiological effect of visual stimulation on the human body, and the power of the image. <strong>Activity</strong>: Keep working on and finish ad&#8211; discuss.</p>
<p><em>Miercoles 17</em> Sep: <strong>Warm up</strong>:  &#8220;New perspectives in the classroom&#8221;: observational drawing<strong>, </strong>re-learning how to see. <strong>Presentation</strong>:  View examples (labtop projector + screen) of visual art on the surface of urban design. <strong>Activity</strong>: Re-doing the artroom space.</p>
<p><em>Lunes 22 Sep</em> <strong>Warmup</strong>: Perpective, Balance and Movement Tracing (use tracing paper, pencils, transparencies, dry erase markers, wet erase markers, magazines, big opaque projector &amp; screen. <strong>Presentation: </strong>of my own handmade textures. <strong>Activity</strong>: Focus on making hand-made visual textures (as opposed to relying on computer graphics), which will be used as the basic elements of the design projects.</p>
<p><em>Miercoles 25 Sep</em>: <strong>Warm up:</strong> &#8220;Parts of the whole&#8221; (use opaque projector, screen, magazines, homemade cut aperatures from cartolina. <strong>Presentation</strong>: Work autonomously in arranging the elements of design and carrying out the full process of the their work. <strong>Activity</strong>: Continue to work on patterns and texture with new and familiar mediums, working on folder and finish then quickly work on categorizing.</p>
<p><em>Lunes 30 Sep</em>: , <strong>Warm up</strong>:  &#8220;New perspectives in the classroom&#8221;, <strong>Presentation and activity</strong>: Challenge their artwork through finding and exploring new perspectives in their expression, look back in their folder for the first month, first month reflection.</p>
